This is a modern, clean and crisp Yates's with a decor that is stylish. Obviously, designed for huge crowds at the weekends, this Yates's is large, has two floors and is host to DJs from time to time. There is also a beer garden for those who want to drink in more sedate surroundings. During the day the customers are normally office workers eating lunch while in the evening a younger crowd dominates. The weekend sees the party crowd come in attracted by good prices and good food. |

The venue's interior is spacious, and well-ventilated, and is large enough to host its live acts and still have enough room to move around in. Even more room is available via the outside seating. The menu is broad, at times exotic (one dish offers crocodile fillets!), but also reasonably priced. |

Its main attraction seems to be the live comedy from Thursday to Friday, but there are also the student discounts on Monday and Thursday. Otherwise this is a middle to upper brow venue which caters for office workers and tends not to be the place to go for rough and ready drinking like some of its neighbours. With a clean, fresh design and relaxing atmosphere its a popular venue. |
