Flying without wings...

When you choose our free fall flight simulator as one of your weekend activities you will indeed be flying without wings. But you do need some apparatus: a very big fan and a very baggy jumpsuit. A jumpsuit so baggy with a gusset so low you’ll look like you’ve come through a timewarp from an MC Hammer convention in 1989.

The very big fan will blow you upwards. The very baggy jumpsuit will allow you to catch the wind beneath your armpits (as Bette Midler should have sung) and float upwards on the breeze. You’ll get all the sensation of a free fall skydiving adventure without the need of a plane, an altitude of 10,000 feet, or some sweaty instructor clamped onto your back like a limpet in a jumpsuit.

Instead you’ll be free to float 20m in the air (above a safety net), free as a bird on a jet of air rushing past you at 200km/h. If your stag or hen party likes a bit of originality in their weekend activities then can we suggest that planning a session on the free fall flight simulator will make you just about the finest person that ever lived in the eyes of your mates? The free fall flight simulator does depend on half-decent weather. If the winds are too strong you won’t be able to fly without risking being blown into the Baltic. And if the temperature is too low (below -5°C) then at 20m up you’ll freeze. And then risk being blown into the Baltic. For safety reasons, then, our skydiving adventure is one of those outdoor activities that we just can’t run if it’s too windy or too cold. Also, and don’t say we didn’t warn you here, you will need a modicum of fitness and balance to enjoy the free fall flight simulator successfully.

Also, a small percentage of participants fail to get off the ground at all. Mainly because they’re…er…how can we say this politely? A tad overweight. You know who you are, lardy-boy. Time to start hitting the Wii-Fit.
